Licensing

SurnameDB.com is a free online database, that tries to provide the most likely origins for a surname. This database can be licensed for programmatic access via our API.

We offer 2 types of license :-

The Intro license that provides approximatly the first 100 words from our origin text.
The Full license that provides the full version of the orign text.

If you wish to use our research text for an individual surname, within a book or personal webpage. Please include the copyright notice and a link back to the original page within your text.
